We made our Copper Road Ale today! This process was a fairly simple and easy process that took less than 4 hours from start to finish. We finished the brewday in the primary fermenter at a 1.052 OG. That will hopefully end us up with a ABV of about 5%, maybe a bit higher. This one will spend a typical amount of time (about 2 weeks) in the fermentation cycle. We will leave it in the bottle at least 3 weeks this time. Past experience has shown that it needs at least 3 weeks at a minimum to become really well tasting.
